Signed in pencil, verso.
Bunny Yeager (American, 1929-2014) Charlene Mathies and Frank Sinatra, 1968 Gelatin silver print 10-1/2 x 10-1/4 inches (26.7 x 26.0 cm) (image) 14 x 11 inches (sheet) Signed in pencil, verso. From the collection of Grapefruit Moon Gallery Taken on set during the filming of Lady In Cement, for which Bunny Yeager helped cast her frequent model Charlene Mathies, and where Yeager played a small role, this captures the louche allure of Rat Pack Miami--a scene Yeager was deeply embedded in. Toward the end of her life, Bunny Yeager found the critical acclaim that had overlooked her for much of her career, with celebrated exhibitions at galleries in Florida and beyond, and a museum exhibition at the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. For these, Yeager reapproached her earlier work as works of fine art, creating museum quality exhibition sized prints such as the one seen here. Overall excellent condition. A few very small areas of retouching. Sheet is loose, not framed.
