Goup X
Group X was a short-lived association of British artists founded in 1919 by Wyndham Lewis (1882- 1957) to provide a focus for the London avant-garde and an alternative exhibition venue to the London Group. The name of the group, which was made up of members of the Vorticism movement, does not seem to have any particular significance. Group X held only one exhibition in 1920 at the Mansard Gallery in London.
