Historicism
Historicism is an umbrella term for the imitation of historical style models that was common in the 19th century. It is characterised by a stylistic pluralism that reaches its peak in representative architecture and revives past architectural styles such as neo-Gothic, neo-Renaissance and neo-baroque.
