The offered lot bears comparison to two other pieces, each formerly in the Chen Collection, and which were sold, Lyon & Turnbill London, November 23, 2008, as lots 24 and 68. Lot 24 was on the form of an oval glass mounted charka, and the other, like the offered lot, in Gilt Silver. The distinctive enameling style appears to be limited to these three works.
