Moderate toning to the sheet with lines of demarcation evident in margins indicating light staining; background presents with moderate fading, figure's inks still appear vibrant. Mild handling dents with creasing throughout the sheet. A few minor losses along extreme edges of sheet including corners, additional creasing in some of these localized areas. A few mild marks/spots of foxing in recto margins; a small, negligible spot of stray teal ink on figure's cheek. A moderate liquid stain along lower edge and in upper left corner, tidelines extend into the background of the image area on the left side and contribute to slightly deeper toing within the area. A small (1/4") tear along the lower edge, does not appear to impact the central image area. A 2"-3" repaired tear along left lower edge extending diagonally into the background of the image; a 1"x1" repair to the lower right corner, extends about 1/4" into the background of the image and goes through the "6" in the inscribed date; a small (1/4") repair along the right extreme edge, does not extend into image area; a small (1/4") repair along upper left extreme edge, does not extend into image area; none of the aforementioned repairs present with inpainting. A few small (1/4") areas of localized skinning along right margin with some evident thinning to the sheet. Several mild areas of accretions/skinning evident along verso edges, likely due to previous hinging/mounting. Signature partially effaced. Unframed.
