Bunny Yeagers's Costumes & Props Fan, hat, & lingerie, circa 1950s-70s "I feel that the best costumers for my models are the ones that reveal what I want them to reveal," Bunny Yeager once wrote, describing her love of sheer lingerie such as the piece seen here, which she used in numerous photoshoots. Along with costumes, Yeager felt no photographers toolkit was complete without props, though, she had strict rules about their usages. "Accessories or props are not thrown indiscriminately into a picture. They must add up to something....bolster the mood, feeling or emotion of your picture." The treasures in this lot, which come directly from Yeager's saved costume and accessory closet, can be mixed and remixed in innumerable ways, and are among the only surviving examples of her career used pieces.
