Bunny Yeager (American, 1929-2014) Hugh Hefner, Bunny Yeager, & Models, circa 1950s Gelatin silver print, ferrotyped 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) (image/sheet) From the collection of Grapefruit Moon Gallery Bunny Yeager took her place in Playboy history when her unforgettable Christmas centerfold of Bettie Page appeared in the January 1955 issue of the magazine. Her association with Hugh Hefner would continue throughout her career, as she photographed and scouted models for the title. Here we see her and Hef surrounded by a number of those models, including the popular Fran Stacy, Lisa Winters, and Myrna Weber. A rare testament to their relationship with historic significance. Overall fair condition. Considerable losses to the emulsion layer of the image at top right corner. Accretions, and creasing throughout image and sheet. Loss to the sheet near the right edge. Sheet is cornered to a window mat and framed under acrylic measuring 15 x 17 inches.
