- Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's first book illustration. - Significant graphic document from the "Brücke" days - Other copies are in international museums like the National Gallery of Art, Washington; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Harvard Art Museum, Cambridge; The Art Institute, Chicago; Kirchner Museum, Davos; Kunstmuseum Basel.

In good condition. Slightly browned, title page and spine more distinct, as well as slightly rubbed and soiled and partially foxed. Title page with faint diagonal crease at top left and faintly visible trace of writing and printing at right.
