Vor braunem Hintergrund, der nach rechts aufhellt, auf einer Platte stehend, eine glänzende Metallvase mit Maskaron und einem plastisch ausgearbeiteten Putto; darin das hochragende prächtige Blumenarrangement, unter anderem aus Rosen, Lilien, Pfingstrosen, Ackerwinde, Tulpen und Iris. Das Gemälde ist von raffinierter Eleganz und hat eine pastose, sowie klare brillante Farbpalette, bei der durch den Lichteinfall von links die rechte Seite der Blumen im Schatten liegt. Prof. Cottino hält das Gemälde für ein reifes Werk des Künstlers. (1410162) (3) (18)
