Oil on canvas. Signed and dated in the lower right. With titled and numbered labels on the reverse. 58 x 73.5 cm.

- Exceptionally vibrant and dynamic landscape in expressionist style. - Scharl's paintings are at important museums like the Nationalgalerie Berlin, the Städel Museum, Frankfurt a. Main, and the Lenbachhaus Munich. - Most recently, works by Scharl were on display in the exhibition “Kunst und Leben 1918 bis 1955” (Oct. 2022 - Apr. 2023) at the Lenbachhaus in Munich.

In good condition. A few small (old) retouches. Not unframed for cataloging. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
