Hödicke's animal or human creatures are anything from bizarre to enigmatic. - With his demonic grin, he lends his "Jaguar" an almost human character with apparently sinister secrets. - The artist is considered one of the pioneers of German Neo-Expressionism and an essential representative of New Figuration. - His works can be found in the Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main, the Berlinische Galerie, and the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, among others.

In good condition. Overall somewhat dusty and with small adhesions. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
