Etching and aquatint in colors and carborundum. Signed and numbered. From an edition of 150 copies. On Arches wove paper (with the watermark). 43 x 62.5 cm. Sheet: 57,5 x 77 cm.
Printed and published by Atelier Lacourière Paris around 1960 (with the blindstamp). Based on a painting from 1947 (Zervos vol. XV, no. 31). [KA].

• Picasso uses a memento mori, a trope that has served as a reminder of death in art history since the Middle Ages.
• In terms of their scope, technical variety and expressiveness, Picasso's prints represent a significant part of his oeuvre..
Accompanied by a certificate issued by Galerie de la Colonne, Paris, in February 1984.

In good condition. Slight mount staining. Some minimal water stains and tiny isolated foxing spots.
