- Wolfgang Mattheuer is one of the founders and key figures of the Leipzig School. Mattheuer's titles often point to the supposed interpretation of his paintings. A colorful, expressive work in very good condition. The flowers are quite impasto in places. The bottom left corner is somewhat rubbed. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
