Oil on canvas. Signed, dated, titled, numbered “B242” and inscribed with the dimensions and technique on the reverse. 150 x 100 cm.

• Extreme close-up, strong colors, energetic style: Rainer Fetting's extraordinarily direct and expressive pictorial language has always been captivating.
• Works from the 1980s are among the most sought-after works by the artist on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
• With exhibitions such as “A New Spirit in Painting” in London in 1981 and “Zeitgeist” in Berlin in 1982, the co-founder of the “Junge Wilde” movement saw his international breakthrough.
With a photo certificate that is signed by the artist.

In good condition. Some minimal rubbing along the edges. Isolated small spots of craquelure in the center of the image. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
