Oil on panel. Signed and dated lower right. Handwritten number and a faded Düsseldorf (painting supply) stamp on the reverse. 21.5 x 33 cm.
- Atmospheric seascape in subtly nuanced colors. - His first study trips took him to the Dutch North Sea coast as early as 1895. - Max Clarenbach is part of the Düsseldorf School and co-founder of the “Sonderbund” in Düsseldorf.
