India Ink drawing. Lower right signed and dated "9.XI.54". On smooth wove paper. 51 x 57 cm. , the full sheet. [SM].
- K. R. H. Sonderborg uses the "non-colors" black and white almost exclusively in his painterly and graphic oeuvre. - The characteristic style of his gestural-abstract works is based on, among others, influences from Asian calligraphy, American Abstract Expressionism and the artistic method of Automatism. - Sonderborg took part in documenta II and III in 1959 and 1964, and in the Venice Biennale in 1964 and 1970.
