Oil on burlap. Titled, monogrammed and dated in the upper left. Typographically numbered on the reverse. 78 x 61 cm.

• There he created empathetic, suggestive architectural portraits of one of the world's most fascinating cities.
• Peiffer Watenphul's works are in the collection of, among others, the Museum Folkwang, Essen; the State Painting Collections, Munich; and the Von der Heydt-Museum, Wuppertal.

In good condition. A few tiny isolated retouches. The work was not unframed for cataloging. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
