This unique edition sculpture, created by Edoardo Villa has a notable provenance. It was acquired directly from the artist by the renowned heart surgeon Christiaan Barnard in 1973. Barnard commissioned the Italian fashion designer Angelo Litrico to create a suit and, in lieu of payment, gifted this sculpture to Litrico, settling his debt. After Angelo Litrico's death in 1986, the sculpture became part of his estate. The artwork was then inherited by Litrico's grandson and was subsequently acquired by the current owner.
