Edward Donald Storms, born in Brady, Texas, in 1924, transitioned from U.S. Air Force fighter pilot in WWII to acclaimed sculptor with a unique artistic vision. After studying at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, where he initially gained recognition as an award-winning photographer, Storms shifted his focus to contemporary art. His mentorship with renowned Texas sculptor Charles Williams in 1961 proved pivotal, guiding him towards sculpture as his life's work.
