Condition
Bunny Yeager's Kodak Brownie Target Six-16 Box Camera Rochester, New York, circa 1950 5 x 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches (12.7 x 8.9 x 14.0 cm) For 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch exposures on 616 roll-film. Meniscus lens with single-speed shutter. Black leatherette covered metal body. The only way to learn is to experiment. The magic ingredient is imagination. -Bunny Yeager The Kodak Brownie camera was for many decades, the amateur photographers camera of choice. This one, which Bunny Yeager saved hers as a signifier of her improbable rise from fashion model to one of the leading glamour photographers of the 20th century, speaks to her incredible can do attitude. Though she would go on to shoot on multiple professional grade cameras, Bunny Yeager would not have been Bunny Yeager had she not been fearless with the Kodak Brownie here.
