Shin-hanga

Shin-hanga ("new print") refers to a direction of Japanese printmaking that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century, which on the one hand is oriented towards the tradition of Japanese woodblock prints, and on the other also incorporates stylistic and technical influences from 19th and 20th century Western art.
