The Neo-Dada Organizers were a collective of young, emerging artists based in Tokyo and active from 1960 to 1963. The group positioned itself as an opposition to all conventional art forms and institutions. The artists strove to create art that responded more directly to the chaotic realities of the world. The demonstrations and happenings in the streets organized by the group were often political in nature.
