Belgian Luminism refers to a stylistic tendency of Post-Impressionism that developed in connection with the artist group Vie et Lumière ("Life and Light"), founded in 1904. In a precise examination of the theme of light and the works of the Impressionists, the group mainly created motifs of the Belgian landscape.
