The American Ed Ruscha, was born on December 16, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1956 he moved to Los Angeles, where he trained as a graphic designer at the Chouinard Art Institute. His interest in graphic design and text determines his artistic work as a painter, graphic designer and photographer.
