Gifted by the artist to Miles Davis,1986; Cicely Tyson, by descent to present owner.
Overall excellent condition. An unobtrusive, small network of fine scratches, left of thumb, lower left quadrant; and two tiny areas of retouching, upper left quadrant, all visible in raking light only. Sheet is dry mounted to a 17 x 17 inch mat board where top left corner lightly bumped and mount very lightly soiled front and back, not affecting the image. Not framed.
