Adele Laure Brunet, born in Austin, Texas, maintained a lifelong connection to her home state through her education, teaching, artistic work, and exhibitions. After early art training in Austin and San Antonio, she studied at the University of Texas and later returned to Texas in 1927, settling in Dallas where she continued to paint, teach, and participate in local art communities.
