A Russian Green and White Opaque Enameled Gold Cigarette Case Fabergé, Workmaster Henrik Wigström, St. Petersburg, with London import marks for 1911, and with scratched inventory number 21003 3-3/8 x 2-1/2 x 0-3/4 inches (8.6 x 6.3 x 1.9 cm) 136 grams PROVENANCE: Mrs. C. Watney, acquired from the London branch in December of 1911, for 29 guineas 5 shillings; Property of a New York Family. Several related cases with designs featuring engine-turned ground relieved by thin lines of enamel and dating from 1914-1916 may be seen in Tillander-Godenhielm, U., Fabergé, The Twilight Years, Unicorn: Lewes, 2023, pages 70-80.
