Lined canvas. Minor frame abrasion at edges. Scattered instances of extremely faint, finely patterned craquelure. A vertical line of surface abrasion with associated losses in lower right corner. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame due to size. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Some brushy areas of retouching in the lower half of the work, including the area surrounding the aforementioned abrasion and loss in lower right corner. Additional small dots and dashes of more finely applied retouching scattered throughout, primarily appearing to address craquelure. Strengthening applied to some orange pigments.
