Louis Carreon (b. 1977) Untitled Acrylic, spray paint, and mixed-media on canvas 60 x 48 inches (152.4 x 121.9 cm) Signed lower right: Louis Carreon Louis Carreon describes his Ryzantine art as "a spiritual journey going towards authenticity where you take all the bad and burn that fire to propel yourself into a better and more authentic future; exploring the value of redemption is everything". This work is included in Art For Good, a dedicated session within the auction where a portion of the proceeds from each sale supports a worthy charity. One hundred percent (100%) of the net proceeds from this piece will go to Cure Addiction Now. Contemporary artist Louis Carreon, based in Los Angeles, began his career in street art and is best known for his mural on a private jet for Art Basel Miami. After serving time in prison for drug-related charges, Carreon turned to art as a way to maintain sobriety.
