Amir Diop (20th Century) Lauryn Passion Mixed media on canvas 48 x 36 inches (121.9 x 91.4 cm) This work is included in Art For Good, a dedicated session within the auction where a portion of the proceeds from each sale supports a worthy charity. Ten percent (100%) of the net proceeds from this piece will go to St. Jude's. Amir Diop is a young Black Indigenous artist from Brooklyn, New York, who gained recognition during the pandemic by painting murals on boarded-up storefronts in Soho. Diop's art is driven by social justice, and he thrives on collaboration, using his work to express the frustrations and hopes of his community. He is a featured artist in the "Art for Good" event.
