A Chinese Amber-Glazed Terracotta Attendant Figure, Tang dynasty 14 x 4 x 2-1/2 inches (35.6 x 10.2 x 6.3 cm) The figure shown standing with one hand held across his chest and the other at his hip, wearing a belted coat and high boots, the coat covered in yellowish-brown glaze, while the rest of the body unglazed. PROVENANCE: Acquired from Hartman Rare Art, Dallas, Texas, 1986. Sotheby's Parke Bernet, September 23, 1976, lot 269. Eskenazi, London. Property from the Collection of Mr. James C.
