羅氏講究排場，作壽尤甚，其七十大壽、伉儷百卅大壽，皆哄動上海灘，滬上名家亦以書畫致賀。本幅即一九三七年王震為夫婦賀壽所寫，王、哈俱屬滬上商界要人，皆熱心慈善，愛儷園時有賑災籌募活動，王氏亦曾躬與，往來殊多，本幅取八呎整紙，似為畫家傳世作品中尺幅最大者，極其特殊，蓋因羅氏篤信佛教，遂寫紅衣羅漢，其眉目神似哈同，手持書卷暗示喜好中國文化，題字「來自西域」亦合受贈人身世，大面積施朱紅色更增吉慶氛圍，彰顯畫家精心巧思。
