註：本卷集姚華父姚源清書法、陳師曾繪畫，合裝而成。姚源清（1842-1917），字澄海，號湛庵，諡孝憲先生，貴州貴筑人，經商起家。從本卷裝裱可推知，姚華在乃父殁後翌年，偶撿遺墨，雖袛零篇隻字，仍極珍視，倩好友陳師曾圖之以配。茫父以篆書大字敬題引首，簡述由來，落款「孤子華」，足見喪父悲痛之切，復由長子鋈、媳淑媛、次子鋆，重題鈐印，合裝成卷，再三囑咐「子孫世守之」，足證此卷對姚家之特殊意義。
