The tapering bowl divided into six panels, three finely engraved in Tiefschnitt with female figures in elaborate costume allegorical of months of the year, each respectively titled 'Januier', 'Feurier' and 'Mars' within a cartouche below, alternating with three panels of laub-und-Bandelwerk and acanthus scrollwork in Hochschnitt on a polished ground, the base of the bowl cut with gadroons between faceted bands, on a hexagonal baluster stem cut with overlapping lappets to the upper part, the conical foot with a formal border to the footrim and cut with a |0|0| pattern rosette underneath, 21.3cm high (rim cut down and small bruise to rim)
