Created in the context of the famous color silkscreen prints “Neuschwanstein” (1987, Feldmann/Schellmann/Defendi II.372) commissioned by Bayerische Rück Insurance Company to mark its anniversary. [AH].

• Drawing and silkscreen in dialogue: The lines of the drawing are nearly identical to those of the Neuschwanstein print and bear witness to Warhol’s creative process.

In good condition. Some slight creases along the edges, as well as isolated, faint signs of crushing and abrasion, partially slightly wavy. With very few, barely noticeable, tiny brown spots. Overall, in a beautiful, harmonious condition.
