- “Leonie” is one of Otto Dix's most important color lithographs. - Dix exaggerates society's outsiders into dazzling and caricatured motifs in his depictions. - The lithographs and etchings from the early 1920s are the artist's most sought-after prints on the international auction market. - Other copies of this color lithograph can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Kunstmuseum Bern, and the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, among others.

In good, pristine condition. The paper is slightly thinned in the corners due to older mounting, only visible on the recto side when held up to the light. Two professionally restored tears in the center of the upper edge of the sheet and one in the upper left edge. Two tiny tears in the upper edge of the sheet. The edges of the sheet, especially in the corners, show slight creases and are slightly creased from handling. A crease along the lower left edge of the sheet. Slightly browned in the mount.
