Lot Details
Cellophaned Offset in colors , mounted on a backing. Signed on the backing board, dated “1973” and inscribed “Druckprobe” (print proof) as well as stamped with the edition note. One of 12 trial proofs aside from the edition of 250 copies. On light cardboard, mounted on white half cardboard. 25 x 25 cm. , the full sheet.
Printed by Richard Bacht, Essen. Published as annual bonus by the Kunstverein Gent, Gent 1973. [MH].
LITERATURE: Hubertus Butin, Gerhard Richter. Editionen 1965-2013, Cologne 2014, catalogue raisonné no. 48.
Pirvate collection, Brandenburg (since 2024)
In good condition. In oblique light with isolated hairline scratches and a vertical superficial abrasion in the center. The left and right edges are slightly bent. The cellophane is loose in the upper left corner. The backing cardboard on the left has two creases.
