Woodcut , colored by hand. Signed and dated. One of only 8 hand-colored copies from the 1912 edition. On Japon. 32 x 40 cm. Sheet: 40,8 x 51,7 cm.

- The motif of bathers is one of the favorite subjects of the “Brücke” artists. - From Pechstein's sought-after “Brücke” period (1906-1912). - Very rare. Only two sheets with this motif have been offered on the international auction market in the last 30 years (source: artprice.com).

Private collection Hesse
In good condition. With slight mount staining and minimal discoloration along the upper edge of the sheet. With slight creases along the lower and upper edges of the sheet and slightly irregular edges. With faint pressure marks along the edges, probably due to framing, and with tiny areas of paper loss in the corners of the sheet, partially backed with paper on the reverse. Verso with mounting traces, minimally protruding onto the recto. Overall slightly creased.
