• Vasarely's geometric-constructive abstraction is based on a standardized inventory of forms and colors, with which he evokes immediate sensations of matter, space, energy, and movement in the viewer.
• Vasarely participated in the documents in Kassel in 1955, 1959, 1964, and 1968 as a co-founder and key representative of Op Art.
• Works by the artist are part of significant museum collections such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Saint Louis Art Museum in Missouri, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
