Lithograph in colors , colored with red pastel chalks. Signed. From an edition of 60 copies. On brownish wove paper. 70.3 x 50.4 cm. , the full sheet.

• Rare copy with Mueller's signature, hand-colored and printed by Mueller in Wroclaw (hist. Breslau).
• In February/March 1928, the “Zigeunermappe ”(Gypsy Portfolio) was first exhibited at Galerie Ferdinand Möller in Berlin.
• The motifs are based on numerous notes that Mueller made during his travels in the Balkans.
• The works from the portfolio, which comprises a total of nine motifs, are among the most important prints in his graphic oeuvre.
• Sheets from this portfolio are among the most sought-after prints by Otto Mueller on the international auction market.

In good condition with rich colors. With a backed tear in the center of the sheet's upper edge (about 1 cm). The sheet is slightly wavy in places, minimally creased, and a bit browned.
