Oil on canvas. Signed and dated in pencil in the bottom left corner of the canvas, signed, dated and titled on the reverse of the stretcher bar, also titled on the reverse of the canvas. 41.3 x 24.5 cm.

- Spectacular visual impact resulting from the concentrated choice of colors and the expressive application of paint. - The artist experiments with the spatula technique and the contrasting colors yellow and black to create a powerful composition of light and depth. - As a member of the abstract painters' group “Zen 49”, Thieler was also associated with Fritz Winter, Willi Baumeister and Rupprecht Geiger.

Private collection, Berlin. Private collection, Rhineland-Palatinate (inherited from the above in 1989)
In good condition. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light source and to the best of our knwoeledge and belief.
