Hardcover book “Stanley Whitney,” special edition, published by Karma Publications, New York, 440 pages, hardcover. The publication provides insight into the artist's work between 1978 and 2015, featuring gouaches, pencil drawings, small- and large-format paintings, and numerous color photographs from Whitney's studio. - The drawing is unique. - In 2022, he found his signature grid format, and in 2003, he participated in the 50th Venice Biennale. - Since 2022, Whitney has been represented by the renowned Gagosian Gallery. - In 2024, the Buffalo AKG Art Museum in Buffalo, New York, will present a first comprehensive retrospective. - Works by the artist are at, among others, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
