The vase with baluster body and flared cylindrical neck applied with scrolling serpents and twin handles, painted in polychrome enamels with twin rectangular panels, one depicting courtly figures within an interior, the other with warriors within a landscape, the neck with similar small panels, reserved on a dense floral and foliate ground, above a deep formalised border, together with a pleated silk shade, the jardiniere of tapering cylindrical form decorated with a dense pattern of birds, flowers and fruit within formalised foliate borders, the underside with four character red seal mark, the lampbase, 48cm high not including fitments, the jardiniere, 33.5cm high and 36cm diameter (2)
