- Expressive and detailed drawing from the “Personnage de la Napoléon” cycle, 1962-1972. - Further copies from this series are found in collections such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris. - Shift towards expressionist and symbolic figures of ironic loners from the 1960s onwards. - In 2013, part of the major solo exhibition at the Musée d'art et d'histoire du Judaïsme in Paris. - Maryan's works are in internationally renowned collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Centre Pompidou, Paris, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
