Pencil , color pen, India ink and watercolor. With the stamp “E.L. Kirchner Orig. Zeichnung aus Slg. Lise Gujer. Bei Kornfeld und Klipstein erworben durch Galerie Nierendorf bestätigt Florian Karsch” on the reverse, as well as the registration number “E71-746 / 33”, also titled, dated and inscribed with the location “Dresdner Vorstadt”. On firm cardboard. 17.5 x 29 cm. , the full sheet.

• Kirchner captures the childrens' carefree play in expressive dynamics.
• Originality and authenticity were programmatic for the Brücke artists, Kirchner exemplifies both in this work.
