Dated and illegibly inscribed “Bildnis Heinrich Schaefer - Schriftsteller mit Maria (Einstein [...])” (name suffix illegible) on the reverse of the stretcher, as well as inscribed “Conrad Felixmüller” by another hand on the reverse of the canvas. 80 x 85 cm.
