- Technically fascinating work from the "Brücke" days: In a dynamic flow, Heckel put accentuations and contours in strong colors over the glazing and airy gray-brown watercolors. - Fine example of the extraordinary graphic innovativeness of the "Brücke" artists. - Heckel's painting "Haus mit Turm" (1908) was confiscated from the 'Museum der Bildenen Künste' in Leipzig and has been considered lost since.
