• A striking depiction with energetic, expressive, and intense lines from the highly sought-after “Brücke” period.
• The outdoor nude—a significant motif in Kirchner’s oeuvre and characteristic of his artistic work during this period.
• Particularly attractive provenance from the artist’s estate.

Galerie Nierendorf Berlin, 1963, cat. no. 34 (illu.)

From the artist’s estate. Galerie Nierendorf, Berlin 1963, cat. no. 34 (with ill.). Galleria Castelnuovo, Trudi Neuburg-Coray, Ascona (on the backing board with the gallery label). Private collection. Private collection, Thuringia (in the family’s possession ever since)

Good overall condition. Page edges slightly irregular. Tears and missing sections along the edges have been expertly repaired. Two tiny tears on the lower right side. A tiny tear on the lower left. A few tiny paper-related pinholes, visible only when held up to the light. The included mount is probably from another work, lacking the designation and sticker noted in the expert report.
