Bunny Yeager (American, 1929-2014) Maria Stinger (9 works) Kodak Film negatives 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches (6.3 x 6.3 cm) From the collection of Grapefruit Moon Gallery Maria Stinger goes down in history as Bunny Yeager's first professionally published model. The pair would work together frequently in the years after, with Maria appearing in men's magazines such as Cavalier and Rogue. Their work together contributed to the rise of pin-up culture in the 1950s, and Yeager’s photographs of Stinger are still celebrated as a classic example of mid-century glamour photography. Looking at these shots, that's no surprise. This lot is accompanied by Maria Stinger's model release form. Unique to this auction of Bunny Yeager material, copyright transfer paperwork for this lot can be requested directly from the consignor upon purchase.
