• Early work by the celebrated protagonist of the New Leipzig School: a combination of painterly and figurative elements, symbolism, and a touch of mystery.
• Between 1989 and 1995, paper was Rauch's preferred medium.
• Rauch's works can be found in renowned international museums, including the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, the Kunsthalle Hamburg, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

In good condition. Slightly wavy and with some slight handling creases in the outer edges of the image due to the technique. Four small, backed creases (approx. 8-15 mm) in the sheet's upper margin and a small crease (approx. 8 mm) in the sheet's lower right edge. Some studio marks.
